Production breif:

Production Project Treatment: BRIEF 3 FILM MARKETING
Production brief: A cross media production to market and promote a new film in a genre or subgenre hybrid of your choice. There are two main tasks:
Task 1: DVD cover; back front and spine, poster for thematic release and landscapes banner poster.
Task 2: Audio visual audio, sequence from mainstream radio or television breakfast show 2min- 2 min 30.

Task 1:
Genre and brief synopsis of film:
Genre: thriller/romance, a story of an old man who lost his wife, but no one knows, his use of editing and hacking Is used to keep her alive through the media until the cause of her death is revealed, based on a true story as that will attract the older demographic.

Task 2:
Name and genre of TV/RADIO programme:
Breakfast Talk show – bringing in our key actors and talking to them about how the process was
Introduction wrote and plan script location and separate
Interview director fan actor name of radio who will be in it
Texts to be produced – how do they link /converge?

My texts will be recognizably related through the Intertextually and synergy  through the recognizable actor who will be featured also the pixelated edit theme which I aim to use in order to allude to narrative, a synergistic link between media products something recognisable in both.
Target Audience: (from research, HOW will you target this audience?)

Targeting a 30-49-year-old audience but also some others through the casting of older actors and the theme of loss at an old age and the struggle could be somewhat relatable as he’s dealing with day to day life. Establish Genre media language the technical codes and cinematography with sharp cuts and close up camera work immersing audience in thriller and romance and narrative also with the contrast in lighting with high-key and low-key lighting being used to intensify mood. Main male protagonist middle-aged Caucasian male, upper class. Located in central London a busy town with everything at your fingertips, age rate 15 title: illusion.

Application of MEDIA LANGUAGE (Visual, technical, language codes)
Casting of middle age actors, a lot of close ups to create an emotive and relatable opening. Dialogue will be limited as there is a lot to be revealed. Camera shots vary, tracking shots opening with an establishing crane shot. Panning revealing the costume and dress code, which will be relatable to a 30-49 audience the man will be middle aged, brown hair which is slightly greying and be dressed in a collared t shirt with jeans rather smart casual, glasses looking rather average and not hinting to his psycho acts which are slowly revealed. Narrative will include small piece of voice over positioning audience with man protagonist to begin with until ultimately being conflicted between what is wrong but the intention from camera being to keep you with the man who ultimately in the wrong.

REPRESENTATIONS and how they will be constructed:
There representation of the older demographic is subverted as its unexpected for him to challenge what’s expected, as stereotypically the newer generations are better with technology. Also representation of the social media good as it's comforting however also negative as someone was able to be alive through someone else.through technical codes, angles, costume etc and narrative, genre and mode of address

INDUSTRY: HOW is this reflected in production, distribution and marketing:
A mainstream production shown through the editing and camera shots and the actors and the locations seen, a lot of money gone into production and its marketed put on landscape banners and theatrical posters.High  Production value, distribution methods billboards etc.
